Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Brookfield, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be involved in various accounting functions, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. This role will also require proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other key skills like general ledger management and journal entries.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to maintain accurate financial records

• Perform bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with bank statements

• Manage the general ledger and offer insights on improvements

• Process journal entries and ensure accurate record-keeping

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Participate in the month-end close process including the preparation and analysis of financial statements

• Work with Viewpoint Vista, a leading integrated accounting solution

• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes

• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations. Requirements • Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required

• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entries is essential

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel are required

• Experience with Month End Close processes is necessary

• Knowledge of Viewpoint Vista software is beneficial

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines

• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
