JOB REQUIREMENTS: Project Engineer - Construction - 1139496055 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer - Construction to join its office in Milwaukee within the North America Infrastructure & Mobility Division. Mission The Project Engineer - Construction is an integral part of our team overseeing transportation projects primarily for the Wisconsin DOT (WisDOT). Your role involves on-site documentation of construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. You will conduct daily field inspections, monitor contractor operations, interact with stakeholders, and support project scheduling and close-out activities. Your effective communication and attention to detail will contribute significantly to project success and client satisfaction. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be encouraged to build relationships with clients for current and future projects, fostering a collaborative environment for continued success. Key Accountabilities * Provide inspection services for transportation construction projects (interpreting designs, construction specifications, verification of contractor performance, pay estimates, overseeing a team of inspectors) * Review construction documents for constructability * Complete inspector\'s daily reports * Review project drawings * Review project work for quality and safety requirements * Ensure compliance with the company\'s technical, safety and quality policies and procedures during the execution of projects * Other duties as assigned At RINA, we endeavor to create a work environment where every single person is valued and encouraged to develop new ideas. Bridge experience is a plus. * Engineering-In-Training (EIT) required.
