Location: Bronx New York – 5 days in office

Salary: $25-$30 per hour

Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing team. This role is essential to ensure our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Position Overview:

As an Accounts Payable Coordinator , you will be responsible for processing and managing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining proper records. This role requires a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and process invoices for accuracy, approval, and coding.

  • Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies.

  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing processes.

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of vendor files, purchase orders, and invoices.

  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.

  • Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment and efficient workflows.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable or general accounting role.

  • Familiarity with accounting software

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
