Opportunity for someone who likes to work outdoors and get a sense of accomplishment from working with their hands. No experience needed as this is a helper role for a garage door installer. The position is designed to train the person to install garage doors and motors while helping an experienced installer. This is the beginning job that leads to a career as a garage door installer with other opportunities available as the person becomes more experienced and proves to be someone who is reliable to show up to work on time each day and takes pride in their work. Will eventually have to provide their own hand tools although no tools are required to begin.
Requirements
- 1 year of construction experience preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to work overhead.
- Must be able to work off a ladder
- Must possess high school diploma / GED
- Valid driver\'s license
- Knowledge of basic tools
- Clean driving record
- Pass a drug test
Responsibilities

- May be required to work at elevated heights up to fourteen feet.
- Will be performing tasks involving physical labor construction projects
- Must have knowledge of tools and materials used in construction
- May operate hand and power tools of all types: impact wrenches, drills, circular saws, levels, tape measuring equipment, metal cutting tools, and a variety of other equipment.
- Clean up work site when finished.
- May assist other craft workers
- Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
