Brockton Hospital Housekeeping Tech II in Brockton, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

To clean and disinfect all areas of the building, along with higher level disinfecting, carpet/upholstery extraction, floor scrubbing, cubicle curtain changing, glass cleaning, trash removal and disposal

Location: 680 Centre Street, Brockton, MA

Department: Environmental Services

This is a full-time 40 hour/ week position

Responsibilities:

  • Trash Removal, Dusting (top to bottom), Disinfecting (all surfaces), Fill Dispensers (Soap, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Hand-Sanitizer), Glass, Dry Mop Floor, Wet Mop Floor:

  • Front Entrance and Lobby

  • Reception

  • Offices

  • Treatment Rooms/Bays

  • Lab

  • Utility Rooms (Clean and Soiled)

  • Stairwells (Stairs, Railings)

  • Spot Clean Walls

  • Upholstery Cleaning as needed

  • Floor Scrubbing as needed

  • Cubicle Curtain Changing as needed

  • Glass Cleaning

  • UV and Electrostatic Cleaning as needed

  • Rest Rooms

  • Dispose of trash in the outside compactor

  • Must be able to determine priorities in order to complete assigned duties. Functions without full supervision within scope of policies and procedures.

  • Must be able to perform basis computer skills such as: department software, email, electronic education requirements, surveys, etc.

  • Must have flexibility of site to site assignments on any given day based on need and prioritization.

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
