Resideo Product Design Engineering Supervisor in BRNO MĚSTO, Czech Republic
Lead individuals to imagine, design and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team.
JOB DUTIES:
Provide effective leadership, development, and support for the firmware and electronic design engineering team. Motivate the team to achieve high performance and deliver quality results.
Set goals and priorities for the product design division to align with project demands and market requirements.
Oversee the design and development of HVAC products, including projects from initial concept through the production phase.
Responsible for leading hiring processes, help to build a strong team.
Offer technical expertise in the design and implementation of new products or technologies, collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with technical standards and requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and foster innovation.
Monitor and manage the product development budget, plan resources, and ensure effective use of allocated budgets within the department
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years in product design or engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or teamlead role.
Experience in firmware development, electronics, and electro design; familiarity with HVAC system technologies is a plus.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, experience in recruitment and talent development, project management, and effective cross-functional communication.
Proficiency in English language
