Kyndryl, Inc. Systems Administrator – Linux Operating Systems in Brno, Czech Republic

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an UNIX / Linux administrator you will provide support to a global UNIX infrastructure and perform problem analysis.

You will also troubleshoot and escalate issues, perform testing of server updates and patch deployment.

On this role you will manage and maintain system and production environment for the various clients.

Your day to day activities will include :

  • Support the server operating system, system management software and operating system utilities

  • Investigate complicated performance issue

  • Manage file systems

  • Monitor and maintain operating system log files

  • Recommend operating system updates

  • Evaluate planned changes to the server environment and advise of any requirements to support such changes

  • Incident / Change Management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Basic understanding of patch management

  • Basic understanding of OS Linux/UNIX

  • Basic understanding of network management

  • Availability to work during out-of-office hours

  • English – Intermediate

  • Willingness to learn new things
