Job Description
The position reports to Manager PPi Business System. The PPi Business System Specialist is in charge of the sustaining and continuous improvement of operation processes, active deployment and reinforcement of PPi business system across operation departments, handling projects to improve process flexibility and efficiency, support transfers of specific production lines.
What you will do:
Improves and sustains Operations process by definition, execution, management of PPI (Practical Process Improvement) projects/programs. This also includes:
Operations processes design and process maintenance in line with technology needs, industry standards
Driving the company and manufacturing processes to lean principles
Continuous cost reduction in the complete manufacturing and supply chain flow
Cycle Time, inventory optimization projects
Leads product quality/yield improvement projects
Support projects of transfer/resourcing/outsourcing of manufacturing process
Drives PPI improvement funnel:
Searches for Improvement opportunities through data analysis and collaboration with operations teams and streams
Creates/Proposes/Drives approval of the improvement roadmap
Is responsible for cost and labor planning and allocation in collaboration with company management.
Drive and lead PPI pipeline for a responsible work stream
Provides trainings to improvement execution and PPI BS engagement
Following the effective documents IMS, EMS and handling documentations.
Documents/archives/reports results of work according to company rules.
Communicates effectively to multi-functional teams in Product Development, Service, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics and other TFS departments WW
Requirements:
University degree in technical field (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree)
Demonstrated strong leadership and ability to handle complex projects from inception to completion
At least some experience with project or process management, Lean and CI culture deployment in high tech manufacturing or Research and Development environment
This position requires good knowledge of lean methodologies and continues improvement practices
Knowledge / certificate of Six sigma is an advantage
Must demonstrate good knowledge of safety and quality systems, knowledge of ISO quality standard is an advantage
Must demonstrate fluent English – speech and writing
