Sinclair Broadcast Group News Production Assistant (Part-time) in Bristol, Virginia
WCYB/WEMT (Bristol, VA) has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News/Production Assistant!
Responsibilities include:
Assist with news story research and writing for our broadcast and digital platforms
Editing video and sending content to news playout server
Create news graphics for on-air and online content
Help answer incoming calls to the newsroom
Assist with helping time segments for the newscast in a live broadcast environment
Other duties as assigned
Experience:
Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or a related field is preferred
Training will be provided
General Hours: Weekday Afternoons and Evenings
Must be able to work on weekends occasionally
Other hours as needed
