Robert Half Office Manager / Accounting Clerk in Bristol, New Hampshire

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Bristol, New Hampshire. This role involves overseeing administrative duties in an office setting and ensuring all office functions are coordinated to achieve maximum productivity. The role operates within the Accounting Software Systems industry and requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies

• Supervise administrative staff and allocate responsibilities to ensure maximum performance

• Manage agendas for upper management

• Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

• Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures

• Manage office supplies stock and place orders when necessary

• Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments

• Perform receptionist duties when needed

• Plan, implement and manage office systems to streamline procedures

• Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience with accounting functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing functions

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to manage and oversee daily operations of an office

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proven experience as an office manager or other relevant administrative role

• Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures

• Familiarity with email scheduling tools

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• A high school degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
