Insight Global Network Facilities Engineer in Brighton, Massachusetts

Job Description

A retail client of Insight Global is hiring for a Network Facilities Engineer to work 3 days on-site out of their Boston, MA or Lawrence, MA location. This individual will play a leading role in designing and overseeing the implementation of IDFs, MDFs, conduit & cabling infrastructure for New Balance sites worldwide. Some of the projects include new site builds, expansions, remodels, closures, and upgrades. An ideal candidate will have a strong background in structured cabling and networking.

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong experience within structured cabling (knowledge or possession of BICSI certification)

     - Ability to read and interpret CAD or other facilities drawings

     - Experience using VISIO for documentation

     - Ability to produce high-quality documentation and convey technical and non-technical ideas to various stakeholders

  • Knowledge or proficiency with associated ANSI/TIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801, TIA standards null
