Purpose:
As Construction Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading various projects related to the design, renovation, and construction across the Dynamic Aviation campus. This role reports directly to the President and CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements for interior design projects.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external design professionals to ensure project goals successfully align with organizational objectives.
- Design Oversight:
- Ensure construction solutions meet industry standards, and safety regulations in alignment with the organization’s aesthetic and functional needs.
- Budget Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective design solutions.
Work closely with finance teams to track expenditures and provide regular financial updates.
- Contract Negotiation and Management:
Source and negotiate contracts with design firms, contractors, and suppliers.
Oversee contract execution, ensuring compliance with design specifications and project timelines.
- Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the implementation of design plans meets quality standards.
Address any design-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Space Planning:
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize space utilization, considering both aesthetic and functional aspects of the design.
- Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand design preferences and functional interests.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and key milestones.
- Management
- Lead and direct the Facilities Team, including Facilities Maintenance, Groundskeeping, and Housekeeping/Janitorial employees
Skills/Qualifications:
15+ years or more of construction Project Management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
Previous experience leading and managing a team
Ability to use and effectively navigate company ERP and MS Office software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to get and maintain a Class A contractor’s license
Ability to perform routine maintenance duties utilizing basic hand/powered tools and powered equipment and troubleshoot what kind of maintenance is needed
Ability to sit, stand, and/or kneel for extended periods of time
Able to carry and hold up to 50 pounds
