The MBG team delivers full lifecycle solutions-from project inception and planning, through deployment to ongoing support and maintenance.THE ROLEThe Sales Executive is a quota-carrying salesperson responsible for selling large Microsoft-centric Professional and Managed Services engagements to new and existing clients in one (or a combination) of industries. Industries within Cognizant include Banking & Capital Markets, Cards & Payments and Lending, Insurance, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel & Hospitality (RCGTH), Communications &, Media and Technology. You will collaborate with a virtual team from across the business around the sales cycle. This role combines the skills of "hunting", "farming" and industry selling experience and is a high growth opportunity with excellent earnings potential by meeting and exceeding sales targets within a specific set of accounts.Key Responsibilities* Develop business by creating new and managing existing demand via various lead generation channels, including:o Cognizant account teams in existing and targeted accountso Microsoft account teams in existing and targeted accountso Leveraging your skills to break into "greenfield" accounts (new logos)* Functioning as an MBG industry "ambassador", you will be setting the overall tone in delivering amazing experiences with everyone you interact with* Taking the lead on pursuits and acting as the "conductor of the orchestra", you will be coordinating the selling of the entire MBG services portfolio in partnership and collaboration with a wide stakeholder community, including:o MBG colleagues, including teams consisting of technical sales support, solutioning, alliances, project management, marketing, and executiveso Cognizant colleagues within various account teams, service lines and market unitso Microsoft Corporation account team memberso Clients and prospectso Various partners, vendors and the greater community*Other Capabilities Important for this Role* Comfort in leading from "the front"* Ability to rapidly build rapport through strong collaboration and interpersonal skills* Balance of strategic thinking with tactical execution* Self-starter, self-managed* Resourceful, "can do" attitude* "Roll up your sleeves, hands-on" approach* Excellent oral/written communications and organization skills* Ability to travel as requiredMinimum Qualifications- 10 years of selling professional and managed services to Enterprise Clients- Knowledge of Microsoft's Ecosystem, including:- - Enterprise on-premises, hybrid and cloud software and services portfolio, with emphasis across the entire Microsoft stack, including Azure, Dynamics365, M365, Power Platform, Data and AI, Security, CoPilot, etc.) and Microsoft's Industry clouds- Execution in a team-selling environment- Skill in "navigating" within a Global System Integrator- Creation and management of relationships with technology AND business decision makers, including the C-suite- Familiarity with leveraging channels- Knowledge of all facets of opportunity and account development & management- Deep understanding and management of complex solution sales cycles- Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Challenger Selling- Deep experience in creatively overcoming sales obstacles- Bachelor's DegreePreferred Qualifications- Digital Transformation industry specific experience- Existing relationships with Microsoft local field teams and understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem* MS or MBALocation**Remote location within USA, major metro area with proximity to airport#LI-AHREmployee Status : Full Time EmployeeShift : Day JobTravel : NoJob Posting : Nov 20 2023About CognizantCognizant (Nasdaq-100: CTSH) is one of the world's leading professional services companies, transforming clients' business, operating and technology models for the digital era.
