Job Summary:

Xerox Corporation is looking for a Floating FM Operator with Print and Mail experience. The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 07:00 a.m. to 03:30 p.m. with an hour lunch. (Start times and lunch times may vary according to location) The incumbent in this position should possess education equivalent to a high school diploma. Candidate should possess knowledge of mail industry, although not required. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong computer skills, and knowledge of industry trends and technological changes are essential. Lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds will be necessary. Applicant must have own reliable transportation. Must be able to drive cargo vans and have a clean driving record is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage/Complete all incoming print jobs (digital/interoffice/walk-in) to client specifications.

  • Perform all necessary pre-press and layout edits to ensure jobs are printed both correctly and optimally.

  • Ensure that all aspects of job requisitions/instructions and other relevant information is checked and correct prior to starting print production.

  • Prioritize all incoming production work, ensuring that deadlines are met.

  • Coordinate with mail staff on any outbound/bulk mailings that are produced by the Print Center.

  • Promptly assist any walk-ins to the Mail & Print Center based on location.

  • Maintain expected level of customer service to our client.

  • Any other related tasks

  • Coordinate inbound pickups from USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL/Amazon.

  • Drive company delivery vans for mail delivery at two locations.

  • Accept/manage inbound parcel and freight deliveries.

  • Sort all inbound mail to the appropriate locations.

  • Handle the delivery of all mail/parcels/inventory items to locations according to the set delivery schedules.

  • Meter, label, or otherwise process all outbound mail.

  • Handle the parcel drop offs and pickups with appropriate carriers.

  • Promptly assist any walk-ins to the Mail & Print Center based on location.

  • Maintain expected level of customer service.

  • · Secondary Tasks (as needed)

  • Operate the forklift for inbound/outbound pallets for RMU only. (will provide training)

  • Provide Concierge Service for meeting rooms. (pens, paper, water, drinks, etc. based on location)

  • Check paper supply for user MFP’s if required by location.

  • Assist users by clearing paper jams, etc.

Needed Equipment/Program Skills:

  • Microsoft Suite product knowledge

  • Adobe Suite product knowledge

  • Manual/Digital Paper Cutter

  • Book binding machine

  • Shrink Wrapper

  • GBC, Coil and Fastback binding

  • Laminating

  • Any other related tasks

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Personal vehicle

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Customer Service role.

  • Functional knowledge of a PC, including Microsoft Office and web browsing, sending and receiving emails, managing files, and performing data entry.

  • Ability to learn multiple tasks at accounts and continue daily operations when main operator(s) are out of the office.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, and reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
