The Kintock Group Social Service Coordinator in Bridgeton, New Jersey

This full-time exempt position, reporting to the Program Director, is responsible for developing and coordinating a network of resources and services to support the development of life skills and the achievement of health and welfare needs of residents serviced by the programs

Qualified applicants will have the following knowledge, abilities, and skills: * Assess individual resident needs regarding life skills and employment development * Design and implement a referral and follow up process for clients * Design programs that will enable each resident to achieve his/her goals as stated in the program plan * Interpret rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and the standards and objectives of the company and contracting agencies * Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required by contracts * Coordinating social service and employment resources * Act decisively, tactfully and with firmness in emergency situations * Communicate effectively, orally and in writing with all levels of the organization and other components of the Criminal Justice System, and * Participate in mandated training and development activities * Meet contracting agency clearance requirements * Work with Program Staff in ensuring all services are provided that are contractually required Implements Services that educate and support Resident's needs such as; HIV Education from Community Resources, Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, Gambling Anonymous, Child Support Services

Academic and work experiences: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Criminal Justice or a Social Science and one-year of relevant work experience working with a mental health population is a plus.
