Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to add to their team! The Project Engineer leads technical discussions with general and electrical contractors, engineering firms, vendors, end users and works collaboratively with internal departments to successfully achieve project milestones and ensure project completion within time and budget guidelines.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the technical liaison between the company and customers to ensure efficient project execution from start to finish, encompassing scope, installation, and commissioning.
    • Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Project Managers, support teams, Applications Engineers, and contractors to establish final bill of materials, technical design, and customer delivery requirements.
    • Interpret blueprints for field use and discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Lead project and site meetings for complex projects, including kickoff, submittal review, and site commissioning.
    • Schedule and lead site services kickoff meetings with field service prior to startup.
    • Act as the primary technical point of contact to ensure project milestones and technical requirements are met.
    • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
    • Maintain technical knowledge of assigned Industrial projects.
    • Assist with estimating and take-offs.
    • Create drawings for field use and discussions with stakeholders.
    • Adhere to company safety guidelines.

Preferred Project Engineer Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
    • Proven passion and success in sales required.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
    • Strong customer service focus with good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Competency in Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight travel as required.
    • Possess and maintain a current, valid state driver's license.
