Job Summary
Summer is calling! Hours and Work Environment
Camp Dates are June 20 – August 11, 2024. The camp season includes one week of training. You will live on camp property and work day, evening and overnight on a rotating schedule.
Pay Rate: Rate starting at $564 per week.
The Business Manager will:
• Live and work as a team with camp staff and campers.
• Keep accurate records of all camp expenditures and process payments in a timely manner according to GSEMA finance guidelines.
• Review all incoming bills and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
• Account for all petty cash and promptly submit reports for reimbursement.
• Maintain attendance, inventory, financial and transportation records and maintenance.
• Purchase supplies according to camp needs, keeping within camp budget.
• Manage trading post inventories and sales.
• Schedule off camp time to purchase supplies, conduct banking, and do other camp errands as needed. • Act as an integral and contributing member of the camp administrative team responsibilities, decision-making, program implementation and support services.
• Provide supervision, and establish supportive relationships with camp staff.

Job Qualifications
• Must be at least 21 years of age by June, 15 2024.
• Must have current driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
• Ability to manage financial resources effectively.
• Ability to work within the camp environment. Work may be indoors or outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
• Ability to be an effective member of the staff team.
• Ability to monitor and communicate with campers and staff effectively and respond to emergency situations.
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 30 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must become a registered Girl Scout.
• Must complete a criminal background check.
