Job Summary and Qualifications
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the reporting and analysis of the financial performance of hospital-based physician practices and the impacts prospective changes may on the practice. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to business cases for service line growth, as well as other duties as assigned by the HBP Director of Finance.
What you will do in this role:
Pro forma / business case development
Prepares annual projection and budget for employed practices
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of tools that will be used in the revenue and collection processes for variance analysis
Ad hoc report development in platforms such as Microstrategy, Essbase, Business Objects
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or another business-related field is required
5 years of experience in healthcare finance positions
Knowledgeable in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Experience with automated financial and accounting reporting systems, strategic planning and execution.
Familiarity with professional claim payment methodologies (e.g. RVUs, RVRBS) and revenue cycle process
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
