Responsibilities

The Manager, Sales Enablement supports the Director, Sales Enablement & Communications in the ongoing development and execution of field sales enablement initiatives. The goal is to improve the field organizations ability to achieve their sales goals. This includes the adoption of the Brookdale sales methodology, related processes, and tools. This role will work collaboratively with Sales Leadership, Training & Development, and other corporate and field stakeholders in support of Community Sales Professionals. The goal of this position is to increase sales results and productivity by working as a part of Brookdale’s sales process and tools center of excellence.

  • Support the Director, Sales Enablement & Communications to identify and prioritize needed field sales support and enablement initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities for sales process improvement with a particular focus on the Community Sales Professionals.

  • Assist in the creation of new tools for sales process improvement.

  • Manage the sales enablement content repository (BigTinCan) and ensure that all information is easily accessible and up-to-date at the point of need.

  • Communicate frequently with the Training & Development team to ensure methodology and related content is integrated into training programs.

  • Create and manage scorecards that relate to field sales initiatives and programs.

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand different aspects of the business and how they relate to the field sales roles.

  • Handle first-level field questions and support needs related to sales processes and tools.

  • Support development of sales communication initiatives and ensure their timely completion.

  • Support the synthesis of feedback from high-performers to identify, codify, and communicate emerging best practices.

  • Assist with implementation of sales enablement initiatives in the field, including alignment across various field sales channels and forums.

  • Utilize established sales processes, systems, and forms to perform job duties, track information, compile data/reports and achieve community occupancy goals.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of lead management (SMS) and sales reporting (dashboards) to maximize sales effectiveness.

  • This role may supervise the activities of Associates at the Coordinator level.

Qualifications

Education and ExperienceFour-year college degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 2-3 years in a corporate sales support or enablement role; direct sales experience a plus. Project management experience and detail orientation required. Experience with CRM and content management systems preferred. Strong writing and communication skills. Capable of managing time and tasks in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge of sales and marketing to include principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services to include marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of state regulations impacting or directing the delivery of services. Ability to operate smartphones, personal computers, and related software. Ability to effectively manage time, tasks and projects in a dynamic environment is required. Ability to build trust and act honestly in relationships with others. Ability to assess and understand customers’ expectations, needs and circumstances. Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and to treat people with dignity, respect, fairness and maturity. Ability to effectively listen and communicate verbally and in writing is essential.

$75,610 - $96,324 / year
