Tractor Supply Co. is seeking an enthusiastic HR Summer Intern to join our Human Resources team for a 11-week paid internship in the Nashville/Brentwood, TN area. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations and contribute to the success of our HR initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Talent & Organizational Development Intern

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and development programs.

  • Assist in design, development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum

  • HR Systems Intern

  • Utilize HR Information Systems (HRIS) to update employee records, generate reports, and assist with data analysis.

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to and assist in compliance efforts.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and assist in generating HR reports as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Enthusiasm for HR and a desire to learn about HR best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Customer-orientation

  • Detail-oriented approach to work

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Access and Excel.
