As VP, Global Benefits, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading Otis’ global benefits strategy, ensuring that our diverse workforce receives competitive, innovative, and impactful benefits offerings to ensure Otis is leading the competition in terms of our ability to attract, hire, retain, and incentivize top talent. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver benefits programs that support employee satisfaction, and overall well-being. In this key position, you will lead the function with a focus on efficient benefits practices while balancing global applicability with regional flexibility, colleague experience, and needs of the business.

This visible role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Total Rewards, is location flexible, and can be fully remote, hybrid or on-site depending on location and preferences.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Progress and execute a forward-thinking Global Benefits strategy that reflects Otis’ commitment to meeting the diverse needs of our employees worldwide while aligning with business objectives.

  • Operationalize our newly established global Benefits COE by establishing collaborative and effective regional partnerships and centralized governance models, global standards and frameworks, and consulting capabilities.

  • Design and implement comprehensive and competitive programs, including health and well-being initiatives, retirement plans, and additional benefits, tailored to meet the unique needs of our global workforce.

  • Establish and drive a holistic global wellbeing strategy and framework.

  • Coach, mentor, unite and shape a global team who are dedicated to supporting the successful advancement of the enterprise benefits agenda.

  • Monitor the team’s programs & performance and provide guidance to the senior leadership team by leveraging data, trends, and impact of strategic and core initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with HR, finance, legal, DT, and regional Operating Units to ensure seamless and effective delivery of benefits programs, while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

  • Stay at the forefront of global benefits trends, leveraging this knowledge to enhance our benefits offerings and ensure they remain best-in-class within the industry.

  • Forge strong partnerships with external vendors to manage benefit plan administration, compliance, and cost control, ensuring the delivery of high-quality benefits to our employees.

  • Utilize data analytics and employee feedback to assess the effectiveness of our benefits programs, drive continuous improvement, and measure the impact of our offerings on employee satisfaction and retention.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification is preferred.

  • Proven track record in a Global Benefits leadership role, demonstrating a deep understanding of benefits program design, compliance, and administration across diverse international markets.

  • In-depth knowledge of global benefits regulations, market trends, and best practices, with a proven ability to navigate complexities related to international benefits offerings.

  • Empathetic, inclusive leader skilled in building and empowering teams.

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, influencing and project management skills, combined with the ability to excel in a global, multicultural environment.

  • Strategic mindset and strong analytical capabilities to assess benefits program ROI, utilization data, and employee needs, driving data-informed decision-making.

  • Willingness and desire to roll up sleeves and provide hands-on expertise where needed in addition to strategic guidance.

  • A passion for inclusion with demonstrated experience leveraging Total Rewards strategies to support an organization’s broader Talent, DE&I goals.
