  • Be a team player and work with digital editors and reporters, as well as broadcast correspondents and producers.

  • At least five years experience working with a major news organization.

  • A healthy set of bylined clips demonstrating a track record of reporting and writing general news articles for a mass market audience.

  • Ability to write clean and accurate copy on a tight deadline.

  • Experience covering news relevant to a U.S. audience.

  • The ability to work independently and multi-task during high-pressure situations.

  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.

  • Desire to work in a creative, demanding, competitive but highly rewarding news environment.

  • An awareness of NBC News and MSNBC personalities and brands.

  • Knowledge of foreign languages desired.

  • Must have the Right To Work documentation to work in the UK.
