Peninsula Services Seasonal Grounds Maintenance in Bremerton, Washington
Seasonal Grounds at Peninsula Services Job Duties Include:
- Follow industrial safety guidelines, apply safety trainings, and promote a safe workplace culture at all worksites.
- Duties using various power-operated equipment, including gas and diesel powered push and riding mowers.
- Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs, using hedgers, pruners, or chain saws.
- Maintenance of landscape beds, plants, turf, and planting grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs using gardening tools as directed.
- Water lawns and shrubs using hoses or by activating fixed or portable sprinkler systems.
- Clean and drain ditches and culverts.
- Ability to follow instructions given by leads or supervisors aligned with specific contract requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in grounds maintenance, preferably commercial.
- Experience operating heavy machinery, especially tractors.
Requirements:
- Must pass both agency and federal background checks.
- Be able to provide confirmation that you are authorized to work in the US.
- Prefer a valid state driver's license and have a clean driving record.
