Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will explain a variety of technical HR practices such as employee and/or management rights and procedures for filing grievances. You will assist HR Specialists by performing preliminary review and research on potential grievances and complaints. You will conduct non-complex research of similar complaints or labor relations issues to identify other potential problems or precedents You will review action requests for accuracy; resolve discrepancies; complete missing information and follow up on suspense actions. You will check all documents for consistency and completeness, following up for additional information as required You will provide administrative support to HR Specialists, including copying, mailing, and creating request for personnel actions. You will input and retrieve data into/from an automated database, including formatting and typing correspondence and other documents used in employee processing. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting LER Specialists in reviewing and researching on potential grievance and complaints; Complete work assignments to include formatting and typing correspondence, reports and other documents; Compile various written documents and work with automated programs to input, collect or retrieve information and data. Manage precedent set programs such Voluntary Leave Transfer Program and Unemployment. FOR GS-06: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting senior assistants in research and Reading and interpreting basic law, rules, and regulations. FOR GS-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Drafting written correspondence with oversight for compliance with Navy Correspondence Manual; Using Data entry skills, customer service, and basic computer functionality to perform basic functions. OR A. A bachelor's degree, or four years of education above high school level, in any field from an accredited or pre-accredited college or university; OR B. A combination of education and experience as listed above.
