U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Bremerton, Washington

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ACCOUNTING DIVISION, COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will perform formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will provide guidance on policies, precedents, goals, objectives, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area. You will control and report obligations and expenditures. You will identify problems and recommend solutions for projects related to financial management. You will perform or advise on work in any phases or systems of budget administration. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and providing guidance on budget, accounting, or financial management programs to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector formulating budget and estimates and utilizing an automated financial system to analyze and report obligations and expenditures.
