Location: Bremerton, Washington Type: Exempt Compensation: $101,900 - $163,100 per year (Skookum's compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range, depending on qualifications and experience.) Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm (flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs) As a Business Analyst III you'll... be the most experienced individual contributor on the Business Systems team. Their experience at all levels of Workday allows for this role to be a top performer able to share their skills with the rest of the team. They will help simplify, scale, and deliver value from our ERP system - Workday. This position's primary focus is to partner with the Program Manager and Architect, business leads and SMEs to meet evolving business requirements and lead enhancement opportunities, gather requirements, design, develop and implement system solutions improving the employee experience. Also provide support to daily operations, functional areas, managers, and employees. The Workday Business Analyst III is involved at some level throughout the entire system development cycle (SDLC). This position also supports system upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned. This role will bring thought leadership to the team to enhance our Workday investment. This person must have the experience of multiple implementations of Workday, across the product platform, at a scale that is greater than Skookum. They will bring this experience to Skookum as we grow. Maintain up-to-date project documents for all initiatives that include technical details, user expectations, project goals, work effort, accountability, and deliverables. Continually identify areas of opportunity for automation and lead internal initiatives to implement them. Participate in and frequently facilitate/organize team and cross-team meetings and maintain appropriate meeting records. Research issues and use independent analysis and judgment to produce solution options (including alternative solutions when necessary to address system limitations) to complex and/or controversial matters, including pros, cons, risks, benefits, costs, and unintended consequences. Review system configuration and design options to make appropriate recommendations for system maintenance requests. Research, analyze and propose new features to scale Workday across Skookum departments for large impact opportunities. Automate and digitalize company policies and processes with technology solutions. Customer centric yet follows the process to support end user and external reporting and data needs. Maintains the data integrity with frequent audits and report. Proactively follow-up with the customer to close the requests. Work as an internal consultant, leveraging experience with technology best practices and optimization.
