Our client, a leader in the Industrial sector, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the production team supporting various operational functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $15.50 per hour
Shift - 1st
What's the Job?
Provide support to production associates by receiving, dispensing, and accurately maintaining inventory in vertical storage units and on the shop floor.
Utilize the Q.A.D. system for all inventory transactions.
Assist with maintaining inventory levels for vertical storage units.
Receive hardware into the vertical storage unit, ensuring proper sequence by size, type, style, color, and product code.
Ensure accurate inventory levels by correctly back flushing work orders with the correct material quantities and part numbers.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
High School diploma or GED required.
Ability to operate a fork truck, carts, or other approved methods to transport materials between departments.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
