Job Summary:

The Breckenridge Mountain Masters Association (BMMA) is a neighborhood association comprised of seven neighborhoods across the town of Breckenridge. The BMMA supplies private shuttle transportation to all owners and guests lodging at the allocated BMMA properties. The Assistant Manager of the BMMA Shuttle will work directly with the Director of the BMMA to oversee the Shuttle Operation that we provide to our guests across Breckenridge Ski Resort and the town of Breckenridge. With a team of approximately 12 Drivers and a fleet of nine vehicles you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department including the management and training of Leads and Drivers and preventative maintenance checks of the shuttle fleet.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the leaders of lodging locations associated with the BMMA in creating and leading the achievement of the operational goals for the department and exceeding the service expectations of the stakeholder group.

  • Help in generating excitement among the lodging operations teams and Driver group by supporting resort initiatives and programs Provide safe and courteous transportation of guests

  • Be an advocate and support the goals of the Breckenridge guest experience

  • Act as manager on duty when assigned

  • Maintain a high level of appreciation for guest satisfaction

  • Lead the team in day-to-day management of service recovery processes

  • Assist in the recruiting and training of the BMMA Transportation program

  • Create and maintain daily schedules

  • Facilitate the employee coaching/progressive discipline process as directed

  • Responsible for department payroll review and exception management as required

  • Responsible for first-contact response initiatives for vehicle incidents/accidents, and employee injuries (work comp), including possible implementation of the Crisis Management Plan. Assist Health and Safety in any proceeding follow up required Create and maintain a PM schedule for the shuttle fleet

  • Work with outside the contracted fleet maintenance vendor to ensure al vehicle maintenance is performed as needed and as scheduled.

  • Observe and adhere to all USDOT/FMCSA regulations as they pertain to the operation of Commercial Motor Vehicles

  • Support and facilitate the creation and maintenance of Driver Qualification files to be compliant with USDOT/FMCSA regulations Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • One year experience overseeing operations at a supervisory level

  • Must have a strong background in Leadership; maintaining operational performance while leading staff effectively Must be able to pass a DMV background check

  • Must have a current U.S. driver’s licenseCompetent in Microsoft Office Products; Excel, Word and Outlook Must be fluent in English Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

The expected pay range is $55,000 - $62,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
