Your key responsibilities will be:

  • You will create, modify, test, and verify custom Windows images for customers on ThinkPad laptop, ThinkCentre desktop, and ThinkStation workstation hardware technology platforms. Some limited support for non-Lenovo hardware may be included based on customer requirements.

  • This role will build custom images for Fortune 500 companies worldwide; must be able to create images using various imaging tools (like Microsoft DISM, Windows ADK, Sysprep creating custom OOBE, and a custom in-house manufacturing tool)

  • Be able to work with and, if needed, create scripts for image customization. Technologies include batch files (*.CMD, *.BAT), PowerShell, AutoIt, VBScript and other scripting technologies

  • Work directly with clients to initiate the project engagement to obtain custom imaging and custom BIOS/CMOS requirements; create test plans based on the project requirements and provide test plans to client for approval before beginning the project; provide the client with technical solution documentation; provide test results to the client based on the approved test plans; once the image has passed all the testing and verification processes and the client approves the image for release, it’s packaged for manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Having a solid understanding of the process of how operating systems are laid out and loaded and know how to configure operating systems. Knowledge of Unattend.XML usage, registry and other locations for image customization is required..

  • Ability to work closely with various internal teams, such as sales, project management.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment while keeping quality of the work high as you will be working on several projects simultaneously.

  • Clear written and verbal communication is critical.

Technical knowledge:

  • Windows OS (Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows PE) EFI

  • SCCM, MDT (applications / packaging / driver management / task sequence development / scripting and troubleshooting

  • In-depth knowledge of HW systems

  • Intune, Autopilot and Azure AD

  • Virtualization – Hyper-V, VMware

  • Remote management (AMT, Dash, KVMs)

  • PowerShell

Base gross monthly salary starts from 1.800 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.
