Your future role.

The aim of the function is to ensure and continuously optimize the strategic procurement of products and services in the technically oriented project environment of Innomotics with the aim of increasing the probability of orders and consequently maximizing the earnings contribution from project purchases by optimizing the conditions for Innomotics.

  • In your new role, you will be responsible for the strategic purchasing function in our projects and customer service, to which you will be a member of the core team for the period of Sales offer preparation and project execution.

  • Ensure the early involvement of procurement in all activities and project milestones as well as the contribution to internal workflows and processes improvement.

  • During the preparation of the offer, you will analyze customer inquiries and try to meet customer requests in the best possible way. The aim is to improve Innomotics' cost situation and customer benefits.

  • Execution of procurement processes: consulting, clarification, preparation and preparation of professional tenders, analyzing the supplier’s contractual framework and Terms & Conditions and negotiate these autonomously.

  • Structured selection, ongoing evaluation and consistent development of suppliers

  • You will take responsibility for the sales requirements for sourcing and plan the overarching purchasing strategy.

  • You will ensure that the material cost and deadline targets (on-time deliverability) and the right quality are achieved and, if necessary, initiate countermeasures independently in the event of deviations.

  • In addition, you will provide solutions for procurement-related tasks in the project (including negotiation strategies, negotiation methods, global value sourcing) and show suitable supplier and material field strategies.

  • You will derive the procurement strategy in projects based on Innomotics-wide procurement strategies and ensure their implementation. In addition, you will identify solution approaches and integrate various goals to achieve the project and the strategic procurement goals.

  • You will coordinate purchasing activities and ensure that purchasing methods and tools are implemented correctly.

  • You will ensure that the processes are adhered to (especially for governance issues) and that the controlling and reporting activities are carried out in the agreed dates.

  • you support in the implementation of ECC procedures and processes.

  • You take care of our Car fleet/Mobility management.

  • You will be an active team member in our global Procurement community and regional SCM Hub for indirect material procurement.

Your qualifications – well-founded and adequate

  • You have successfully completed a degree in an economic or engineering discipline (e.g. industrial engineering)

  • In addition, you have several years of experience in strategic purchasing, sales or project management as well as comprehensive technical knowledge of supplier management.

  • Determination, professional competence, structured working approach, ability to work in a team, analytical skills, result and quality orientation, customer centric.

  • Good communication and developed negotiation organization skills

  • You also have practical experience in working together in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams.

  • For your work in international projects, you have very good German and English skills as well as a willingness to travel (approx. 10%).

  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office package (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
