Kelly Services Production Supervisor in Brantford, Ontario

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the afternoon shift to oversee the packaging operations in our client's food manufacturing facility located in Brantford, ON. The successful candidate will ensure that all packaging activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set-up sequence of daily production schedule.

  • Organize materials required to meet production schedule.

  • Supervise and direct personnel within the department to comply with company procedures and guidelines.

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and take necessary action to correct.

  • Maintain a safe working environment within the department to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

  • Train department members to safely and properly perform their duties.

  • Stock checks to be conducted for inventory purposes when requested by production control.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a in a packaging or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working in a GMP, HACCP, or food safety-regulated environment is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of packaging machinery, equipment, and production processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules.

  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with various departments and staff members.

  • Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).

Compensation/Perks:

  • Competitive salary $70,000-75,000 per year.

  • Overtime pay after 40 hours.
