*CNC Machinist Operator--$27/Hour--WEEKLY PAY*
Job Overview:
A machine shop is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC vertical mills, horizontal mills, and lathes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tooling, machine setup, and changeovers, ensuring precision and efficiency in all tasks. We provide a climate-controlled environment with brand-new mills and lathes.
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $21-$30/Hour (Depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities :
Set up and operate CNC vertical mills, horizontal mills, and lathes according to job specifications and blueprints.
Perform machine changeovers and tooling adjustments as needed for different production runs.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine the correct machining operations.
Monitor machine performance, adjusting and fine-tuning as needed to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot minor issues to reduce downtime.
Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
3 years at your current or previous place of employment
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with previous experience in CNC vertical mills, horizontal mills, and lathes.
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with machine setup, tooling, and changeovers.
Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic understanding of CNC programming (preferred but not required).
Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00
