Edwards Lifesciences Therapy Activation Specialist IMAGING, TMTT-EVOQUE (multiple regions in Germany) in Brandenburg, Germany

Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTTs) are the future of Edwards – Estimated to be a more than $5 billion opportunity by 2028, Edwards will discuss its multiple transcatheter programs aimed at transforming care for the many patients suffering from mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. Since 2017 Edwards launched already multiple products – transformational therapies in Europe led by its CARDIOBAND, PASCAL and EVOQUE.

Join the Professional Education & Medical Affairs EVOQUE team (PEMA)– be one of the first Therapy Activation Specialists IMAGING who will be certifying Heart Centers in Germany, Europe, introducing EVOQUE to physicians, helping with first cases. You will be playing pioneering role assuring best experience with new technology EVOQUE enabling REPLACEMENT of tricuspid valve in minimal invasive way – so no need to settle open heart surgery any longer!

Requested candidate locations in Germany (location close to airport and/or motorway advantageous), travelling in Germany and to other EU countries is requested!

We are strengthening our Professional Education & Medical Affairs European Team (PEMA)! This role is reporting to Manager, Therapy Activation, TMTT-EVOQUE! Apply in English!

How you will make an impact:

  • Provide education on all aspects of therapy including imaging, integration and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, software, tools and products required for clinical use including but not limited to intraoperative case coverage and coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs in the Cath Lab

  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to products and procedures including imaging through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs on one technology.

  • Provide moderately complex intraprocedural imaging support during beating heart studies for therapies

  • Analyze, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow-up imaging (e.g., CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to provide inputs that support new product and procedure development and to support event investigations

  • Collaborate with HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria and screening protocol

  • Train field support team and/or HCPs on cardiac imaging procedures

  • Provide on-site cardiac imaging support and guidance during clinical procedures to ensure optimal imaging during the implantation of transcatheter devices (if certified).

  • Analyze imaging and/or oversee third party image analysis for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases

  • Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical device and/or clinical experience (clinical physiology, echocardiography)

  • Similar Industry certification (Imaging - TTE - transthoracic echocardiogram ) or previous edge to edge therapy experience

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging

  • Ability to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration between inter-departmental teams, HCPs and KOLs
