Brief Description
The Warehouse Worker reporting to Regional Operations Manager is responsible for array of functions within the Warehouse Department based at Zurn facility in Brampton.
Key Accountabilities
Receives, unpacks, verifies, and stores merchandise or materials on racking
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Count, Organize stock, maintains inventory, and report any discrepancies
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Maintain daily cleanliness/housekeeping of warehouse
Abide by all company safety procedures, rules and regulations
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High school Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Ability to operate forklift (Reach/Counterbalance) is preferred
Ability to use RF Scanner is preferred
Experience in picking
Experience in shipping/receiving is preferred
Inventory audits
On a continuous basis: work in a standing position, bend and lift up to 40lbs
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the warehouse
Ability to Adhere to Policies and Procedures
Reliability and punctuality
Strong work ethic
Demonstrate high attention to detail
Able to multi-task, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the organization
