About the role: Our Maintenance Technicians are very valuable to us here at Lexington because they are imperative to our machines running and creating quality products for our customers. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 4:00 pm - 2:15 am. Since this is a 2nd shift position, it also comes with a $1 per hour shift difference! Maintenance Technicians perform periodic preventive maintenance and inspection checks on equipment and machine tools. They also handle electrical and mechanical issues, which may require dismantling the machine and cleaning, adjusting/repairing/replacing defective parts, and testing the machine to ensure it is running properly. This person should also be able to troubleshoot 110, 208, and 480v 1ph and 3ph circuits, and someone who might have previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements: 2-year technical degree or at least 2 years previous relatable experience or combination. Requires mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, electrical, and plumbing. Ability to use all types of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Ability to set up VFD and troubleshoot electrical control and wiring problems. Ability to read and interpret documents such as maintenance instructions, manuals, prints, mechanical blueprints, and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
