ONSTAD LAND COMPANY Ag Equipment Operator in BRADY, Montana

Temporary full-time position from 3/1/2025 to 12/1/2025 Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farmworkers. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
