What Youll Be Doing

As a Program Manager, you will oversee the residence and milieu, ensuring the well-being of our clients and supervising direct care staff. Your role includes:

Mediating and Resolving Staff Issues
  • Facilitate effective communication to resolve conflicts and promote a harmonious working environment.
Performance Evaluations and Staff Development
  • Oversee job performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster professional growth among staff.
Maintaining a Safe and Therapeutic Environment
  • Assess resident needs, guide staff in appropriate responses, and ensure a secure and supportive atmosphere.
Creating and Implementing Residential Care Plans
  • Develop and regularly review personalized care plans for residents to ensure their needs are met.
Ensuring Compliance with State Regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with state regulations, ensure compliance, and participate in state inspections.
Managing Staff Schedules and Coverage
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels by managing schedules and making coverage decisions.
Primary On-Call for Emergencies
  • Act as the main point of contact during emergencies to provide swift and effective responses.
Documenting Activities and Meetings
  • Keep accurate records of activities, meetings, and occurrences involving both staff and residents.
Medication Management Collaboration
  • Work with physicians, nurses, and pharmacies to manage resident medications effectively.
Leading House Meetings
  • Conduct house meetings to provide guidance and support to staff.
Family Communication
  • Communicate with family members as necessary to keep them informed about their loved ones.
Identifying and Solving Problem Areas
  • Proactively identify potential issues within the organization and develop effective solutions.
Participating in Organizational Meetings and Projects
  • Engage in organizational meetings and special projects to contribute to overall goals.
Interviewing and Managing Staff
  • Recruit, retain, and manage staff with administrative approval, ensuring a high-performing team.
Collaborating with the Clinical Team
  • Work closely with the clinical team to ensure proper residential care for clients.
Innovative Solutions Development
  • Collaborate with other program managers to develop innovative solutions for the organization.
Maintaining Home Comfort and Safety
  • Ensure the physical aspects of the home are well-maintained for the comfort and safety of residents.
Meeting Dietary Needs
  • Ensure all dietary needs for each client are met according to physicians orders.

What Youll Need
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the human services field or a BA in a human service-related field and 2 years management experience. Must maintain insurability on Trivium auto policy.
  • The ability to respond to crisis situations and be on-call for the program to maintain a flexible schedule.
