The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Key Account Manager for C onsumer B usiness G roup North Europe, UK & Ireland for Home Improvement & Distribution Channel , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • O versee ing , harness ing and amplify ing relationships with key customers within the Home Improvement & Distribution Channel

  • Manag ing national accounts within the UK&I sales channel s , maintaining and growing long term customers by understanding and meeting their requirements and articulat ing strong value propositions to promote 3M solutions to achieve mutual satisfaction

  • G enerally supporting the Sales team with customer requests, covering annual leave etc.

  • Collaborat ing with buyers, merchandisers & customer supply chain to drive incremental opportunities, delivering profitable sales growth to 3M

  • Network ing across the different internal functions, shopper marketing, demand planning, customer service and the sales functions to align functions enabling internal and external objectives to be met

  • Profitably grow ing the Home Improvement & Distribution accounts to achieve long-term sustainable success.

    Your Skills and Expertise

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Degree calibre applicant .

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.

  • Solid n ational account management experience in Home Improvement, Retail or Office environment is desirable .

  • Customer focused , with ability to manage customer communication to deliver operational excellence while building key relationships .

  • Able to prioritise own workload and re-organise as needed.

  • Results driven, history of over-achieving on targets by finding new opportunities to explore outside of core space / ranging.

  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

    Additional skills/ qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :

  • Problem solving

  • Business development / growth mindset.

  • Exceptional communicator (local, regional, central functions) and ability to work across functions to a shared goal.

    Role location: Ideal candidate location would be southern part of the UK, but it is not an excluding factor.

    Work type: Work Your Way/Hybrid/Remote - the role is attributed to the office in Bracknell, with high level of flexibility on working remotely.

    Travel: May include up to 50% domestic + occasional EMEA
