Statement of the JobEvery Hucks Food Service Associate is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the food service department within company policy in such a manner as to ensure that the department is profitable and maintains the highest level of quality and customer service.2. General ManagementEnsures that the food service department is open and ready for business during all hours for which the department is scheduled to be openEffectively schedules associates to meet business demands using fixed scheduleGives all customers prompt and courteous serviceEffectively communicates with store associates and managementFollows all federal, state and local laws and ordinances pertaining to the operation of the departmentProvides a role model of conduct for other associates in the storeControls variable expenses of the departmentEnsure all associates are in proper uniform and providing prompt, courteous customer serviceB. BookkeepingEnsures all paperwork is done accurately and in a timely mannerMaintains inventory and loss within company guidelinesConducts inventories as directed by managementEnsures all associates are properly recording all hours workedC. Human ResourcesTreats all associates with dignity and respect and uses the proper personnel management techniquesEnsures that all associates receive breaksAdvises store manager of any personnel situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performanceTrains all new associates on proper completion of their job dutiesD.
