The Proposal Development Coordinator - 2 is responsible for conduct of the proposal process to ensure that assigned proposals for standard study designs are produced in the most cost-effective and efficient manner while meeting the clients' requirements in terms of scope and timeliness. The Proposal Development Coordinator - 2 works closely with Business Development (Sales), other CX Proposal Development team members, Project Management and Operations. They own the process for generation of proposals and price estimates for standard and more complex study designs, change orders and for tracking Confidential Disclosure Agreements for new business. The Proposal Development Coordinator -2 would be required to liaise with Senior Leadership to discuss and/or gain approval on specific quotations/proposals prior to issue to the client. Operates as part of a global Client Experience team to support cross-functional quotations/proposals and team/business initiatives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Proposal Coordination: Manage complex or multi-site opportunities to ensure that inquiries for studies are being processed and that responses are returned in a timely manner Participate in discussions about the timing and scope of the project. Confirm scheduling & technical capability with Operational leaders Maintain and track client quotes and change order requests. Work with the sales team and senior CX team members to review the proposal with the client and make adjustments to the scope as needed. Facilitate revisions to the quotes, update the proposal package when requested. Request quotes for subcontracted services Work with CX contract for maintenance and updates of client confidential agreements Attend and support scientific discussions with the customer, Study Director, scientific and regulatory experts to ascertain experimental design Maintain up to date, accurate and shared customer specific information to ensure that that the correct account contract wording, terms and conditions are used including agreed upon benchmark prices, milestones and study designs where appropriate Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior management. Support and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft tools preferred Good communication and writing skills Maintain confidential information. Interact with the community and employees. Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot when necessary Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior management. Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree or Masters in a Scientific Field, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field 3-5+ years in contract research, pharmaceutical R&D, project management, or closely related fields. Experience in managing multiple projects with diverse and remo e stakeholders, preferable. Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be considered. Excellent communication and decision-making skills *This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level. The salary range is $65,000-80,000/year.
