Description
Robert Half is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join the team of our client in Boulder, Colorado. This role offers a contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to civil litigation, legal drafting, calendaring, trial prep, and document management.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough legal research and contribute to the drafting of legal documents
• Manage case files and maintain up-to-date records
• Utilize case management software to track progress of ongoing litigation
• Assist in the preparation for trials, including organizing exhibits, documents, and other materials
• Manage and maintain a detailed calendar for upcoming court dates, deadlines, and meetings
• Communicate effectively with the team and assist in resolving legal issues
• Draft and proofread legal documents to ensure they meet all legal standards
• Handle legal matters in a timely and efficient manner
• Contribute to briefing processes and docketing tasks.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Case Management Software to efficiently manage and track legal cases
• Demonstrated experience in Briefing to effectively summarize and present legal cases
• Strong Calendar Management skills to organize and schedule meetings, deadlines, and court dates
• Excellent Communication skills to liaise with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
• In-depth knowledge of Civil Litigation to handle disputes effectively
• Prior Civil Litigation Experience in a detail oriented setting
• Comprehensive understanding of Litigation processes, rules, and procedures
• Familiarity with civil litigation to manage non-criminal legal disputes
• Ability to navigate Legal Issues and provide sound advice
• Proficiency in Drafting Legal Documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Experience managing Legal Files to ensure all case-related documents are properly organized and stored
• Ability to handle various Legal Matters including preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
• Strong Legal Research skills to find and interpret relevant laws and rulings
• Excellent Legal Writing skills to draft clear and persuasive legal documents
• Proficiency in Calendaring to track important dates and deadlines
• Experience in Docketing to maintain court calendars and track case deadlines
