The Role

The Controller will oversee the accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the Company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of accounting, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.

  • Maintain an organized and compliant system of accounting records, adhering to all appropriate regulations.

  • Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.

  • Develop and monitor business performance metrics.

  • Supervise accounting staff and communicate financial matters to non-financial committees.

  • Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

  • Responsible for VIE reporting and year end consolidation.

    Qualifications

    Education 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Master’s degree preferred.

    Work Experience

  • 5+ years of accounting and finance experience.

  • Extensive experience with Deltek Ajera software is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

    Licenses and Certifications

  • CPA strongly preferred but not required.

    Skills

  • Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Advanced understanding of GAAP standards and reporting required.

  • Extensive experience with Deltek Ajera software is highly desirable.

  • Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets using advanced Excel skills.

     

    Estimated salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $125,000.00

    The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. The salary offered will vary based on experience, education, skills, abilities, and certifications
