About the role This position is primarily responsible for the management of Packaging Bill of Material (BOM) updates for new products and changes per Engineering Change Requests (ECR) requirements. The position is also responsible for document control and related processes. This position requires independent action with limited supervision. This role provides the opportunity to work within the Network Solutions Business Unit of Leviton Manufacturing Company Inc. Responsibilities Assist with the packaging request process for new product introductions Update and maintain packaging bill of material structure and system requirements per packaging standards for new product introductions Create and issue ECR’s and work with product management, product engineering, production and/or Corporate packaging Manage artwork approval requests Verify packaging component costs and update life cycles Document and log BOM changes and updates Manages packaging product transfers Provides support to ensure the accuracy of labeling information and barcodes Manages related document control requirements and processes Additional Responsibilities: Oversees printing equipment and corrects label formats for all levels of packaging Verifies new label setups Provides support for packaging production printing equipment Performs other duties as assigned.
