We are seeking a world-class senior designer with demonstrated ability to design compelling and innovative experiences for our end users. You partner effectively with your design and research team members as well as program management and software engineering to create end-to-end experiences from concept to ship. You have designed for a variety of device types (i.e. pc, web, mobile, tablet, wearables) and you have experience designing tools for data science and visualization. You are a great creator, collaborator, and communicator and you enjoy working in as part of a growing collaborative user experience design group, planning and building every day, trying things out, failing and trying it out again, with a positive attitude. This position is located in the Boston office.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for the design of excellent user experiences for customers.

  • Communicate, defend, and build consensus around experience architecture and interaction design direction.

  • Create/oversee the creation of scenarios, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes and other artifacts required to develop and evolve user experience designs for a variety of form factors.

  • Have/apply deep understanding of fundamental visual design disciplines (typography, iconography, composition, color, composition, layout, etc.)

  • Strong visual sensibilities, ability to use visual thinking, storyboards, sketching, and communication design to create breakthrough experiences.

  • Lead/facilitate design brainstorming and work sessions.

  • Work with user researchers to coordinate experience design research efforts, interpret test results, and incorporate results into product design solutions.

  • Oversee/develop, manage, and refine UI pattern libraries and interaction guidelines.

  • Have expertise creating a variety of visual design documents including mood boards, storyboards, creative briefs, motion studies, and visual style guidelines.

  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including senior leadership through implementation phase to realize user experience design vision.

Demonstrate your product design concepts through prototyping.
