Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Data Quality Solution Architect and Developer in the financial industry, based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Collibra Data Quality Observability application as part of an agile scrum team. You will be working on implementing challenging new products using cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Collibra Data Quality Observability application.

• Work on Data Quality tools such as Collibra Data Quality Observability, Informatica, IBM, etc.

• Understand and implement connections to and scanning of databases and data lakes, along with integrations with RDBMS, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Java/REST APIs, etc.

• Familiarize with CI/CD version control practices and tools including Jenkins, Maven, Github.

• Experience with Microservices - API/Event Driven Architecture/Development.

• Review technology documents and collaborate with external vendor and internal partners.

• Communicate pertinent information on upgrades and major releases.

• Have knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle for Iterative Agile and traditional approaches.

• Implement Collibra workflow design and implementation.

• Facilitate requirement elicitation working sessions and create solution architecture document and implementation specs to document how the target solution will be implemented.

• Implement data governance metrics leveraging Collibra Data Quality metadata. Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in ERP system integration

• Experience with Collibra

• Ability to create comprehensive and clear documentation

• Experience in training individuals on new software and systems

• Proficient in database management and administration

• Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Proven ability to design and implement effective workflows

• Skilled in scheduling and time management

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software

• Experience in scanning and digitizing documents

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis

• Proven track record in successful implementation of new systems

• Knowledge of best practices in ERP integration

• Experience with metric reporting

• Proficiency in SQL and Java

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology

• Experience with system integration

• Strong relationship building skills, particularly with partners

• Ability to handle system upgrades effectively

• Experience in drafting software specifications

• Familiarity with configuration management

• Knowledge of GitHub and REST API

• Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field is preferred.
