What will you do?

  • Assist Manager with staff schedule, ordering, receiving, drink menu ideation.

  • Assists with end-of-month inventory and financial reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.

  • Assist managers in training and development of the team and conducting associate-counseling sessions.

  • Assist managers in the management of staffing levels in accordance with established budgetary goals and business volume.

  • Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor staff and to monitor guest needs.

  • Analyze and resolve problems, seeking assistance if needed from management.

  • Ensure venue is adequately stocked with all product and supplies needed for service.

  • Collaborate with manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.

  • Assist bartending associates in serving guests as business levels demand.

  • Ensure personnel meet appearance standards and follow all uniform guidelines.

More about you

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Minimum of 1 year successful supervisory or management experience, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.

  • Knowledge in bartending techniques, recipes, sanitation, and safety issues preferred.

  • Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Strong verbal, written, organizational and time-management skills.

  • Basic computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail required.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds.

  • Ability to engage in constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.

  • Ability to walk throughout the entire facility, for the entire length of shift.

  • Possible exposure to high volume of noise during busy times.

  • May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.
