Robert Half Sr. Fund Accountant in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking to integrate a Sr. Accountant into our team, located in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be entrusted with the management of our fund accounting, portfolio investments, and limited partner interactions. This role will be integral to our financial operation and will require a high level of proficiency in accounting-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage fund accounting tasks such as bank account reconciliation, draft wire transfers, and the preparation of quarterly financial statements and capital accounts

• Handle portfolio investments which include maintaining and updating portfolio company financial information and assisting with closings (acquisitions and dispositions)

• Calculate Fund Gross and Net IRR quarterly and calculate portfolio company IRRs

• Ensure the completeness of all legal documentation including stock certificates

• Prepare draft responses to limited partner requests for information and assist with fundraising as required

• Prepare tax forms related to US tax withholding on income of foreign LPs

• Use accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP proficiently to carry out tasks

• Regularly perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Maintain the general ledger and make necessary journal entries

• Carry out month-end close procedures

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting

Skills:

• Proficiency in 'Account Reconciliation', 'Balance Sheet Reconciliation', 'Bank Reconciliations', 'General Ledger', 'Journal Entries', 'Microsoft Excel', 'Month End Close', 'NetSuite', 'Oracle', 'SAP' Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation processes

• Experience with balance sheet reconciliation

• Skilled in conducting bank reconciliations

• Demonstrated knowledge in general ledger management

• Proficient in preparing and maintaining journal entries

• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks

• Experience with month-end close processes

• Familiarity with NetSuite financial software

• Proficiency in using Oracle for accounting purposes

• Experience with SAP for financial management
