Nike Senior Digital Creative Producer, Converse Wholesale in Boston, Massachusetts

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Direct Team at Converse creates strategic and distinctive digital experiences to inspire and engage our audiences in both wholesale business and ecommerce. We’re energized by our purpose and constantly elevating the stories behind our love for Chuck. This role will work within a highly matrixed, cross-functional team composed of Art-Directors, Experience Strategists, Operations, Copywriters and Designers. You will collaborate closely with internal teams across the organization including Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Legal, Finance and Geography Teams from North America, Western Europe and Partner Markets, as well as external vendors across all production disciplines as needed. This role reports to the Manager, Global Digital Creative Production

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Photo Producer to lead our Sell-In / Wholesale productions and support additional photo shoots as needed. The ideal candidate is passionate for the Converse Brand and a highly motivated self-starter. They must have experience in creative production, especially lifestyle and still-life photography and motion, and be an expert in project management. They are fluent in the languages of pre-production, production and post-production and have built a network within the local production community. They have experience managing production budgets and feel comfortable negotiating to ensure cost efficiency. Confident at managing multiple moving parts simultaneously, they are extremely organized, and detail oriented with succinct communication both written and verbal. To consistently succeed, one must collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the seasonal production lifecycle and be proactive in seeking out the information needed to keep projects moving forward. We are seeking someone who constantly monitors timelines, milestones and deliverables while identifying opportunities to optimize team performance and workflow and consistently delivers high quality work on-time, on-budget and on-brand. The candidate must be a master at calmly solving challenges in real-time both on and off set. Acting like an owner, it is key to take initiative, ask questions to drive clarity and connect tactical tasks to macro strategies and business objectives. They are a team player who prioritizes team success and the business over individual accolades.

  • 3-5+ years experience producing photoshoots and/or creative project management.

  • Bachelors Degree in Media, Production, Photography or equivalent combination of education, experience and training

  • Must be comfortable lifting 30 lbs

  • Travel may be required for on-location productions as needed

  • Role is based at Converse HQ in Boston, MA with 4 days in-office, 1 day remote

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role is focused on our wholesale (“sell-in”) business. Sell-In requires a high amount of cross-functional collaboration and the willingness to build deep relationships with partners in Experience Strategy, Product Management, Art Direction, Design and Operations. You will be responsible for bringing all our wholesale photography content and catalogs to life. This includes budgeting, negotiating, contracting, and quality control. These images are highly confidential and captured at our in-house studio. You will manage a world class production team to create these assets in very close collaboration with cross-functional teams. This seasonal production is fast-paced and high-volume which requires consistent and detailed communication and collaboration to successfully project manage and deliver on-brand, on-time and on-budget.

  • Foster strong collaboration with Experience Strategy partners through the lifecycle of production planning and post, driving synergy across functions

  • Lead on-set production for all shoots, planning run-of-show and tracking time to ensure shot list is fully executed while avoiding overtime.

  • Collaborate with external Line Production partners to source and confirm all talent and crew.

  • Manage talent and crew call-times that promote efficiency and maximize budget.

  • Own production budgets and ensure all budget trackers are up-to-date and accurate

  • Source, negotiate, hire, and coordinate payment for all production partners

  • Partner with Converse and Nike Legal to execute contracts, work orders, and NDAs

  • Source and book shoot locations and spaces for on-location productions

  • Manage all footwear, apparel, and accessory samples to Nike Security standards

  • Partner with Art Directors from brief to final delivery to ensure on-brand creative

  • Own production communications and serve as the central point of contact for cross-functional partners during all phases of pre and post production

  • Own all weekly Wholesale meetings by planning each meeting’s agenda, ensuring the correct stakeholders are present, taking notes on all feedback, and communicating results to relevant stakeholders

  • Own and update Asana project management boards for assigned productions every season

  • Own digital asset management, maintaining quality control and consistent file naming

  • Own hindsighting process and meetings for every production

  • Partner with Operations on process improvement, developing solutions, and training team members on best practices and new ways of working
