Summary

Serve as the main resource for all technology and production equipment utilized by graphics departments, including hardware, software, equipment and network considerations. Engage the appropriate resource to resolve the specific challenge. Propose, develop and train employees on new equipment and software tools or enhancements to existing products.

This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all CapEx planning, budgeting and deployment for all graphics locations.

  • Develop a Maintenance program, Preventive and Corrective.

  • Oversees new equipment initial set-up and employee training.

  • Main point of contact for all hardware, software and equipment issues including service, repairs and equipment downtime.

  • Oversees color management, color profile creation and color consistency for all graphic locations.

  • Creates and conducts training for new and existing employees on the technology tools.

  • Key supplies management (like Ink), advising the team about consumption, technical characteristics and pricing.

  • Works closely with corporate IT on selection and installation of new hardware, software and upgrades.

  • Assisting Layout and Deployment as needed with computer needs/requirements.

  • Liaison between Graphics and Corp IT.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from a four year college or university.

  • Minimum of six years of industry experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of Design software programs.

  • Knowledge of web applications.

  • Extensive organizational skills.

Travel Requirements

Travel up to 25%
