Amazon Global ISV Marketing Manager, AWS Marketing in Boston, Massachusetts

Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a global leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Global ISV Marketing Manager. This role will be pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies for our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) segment worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and contributing to a holistic marketing plan dedicated to ISV Greenfield accounts. These accounts comprise a set of high-potential customers who are not yet strongly engaged with AWS or mature in AWS solutions, presenting an opportunity to develop them into the next generation of ISV customers. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with regional stakeholders from North America, EMEA, and APJ to ensure resonance and effectiveness.

A key success factor in this role requires a "think big" mentality coupled with a get-it-done attitude. You must be able to navigate complex, evolving, and ambiguous environments while persistently pursuing bar-raising marketing strategies that resonate with the ISV ecosystem.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support the definition and maintenance of the ISV Greenfield target-account list to develop the next wave of top accounts

  • Develop global-to-local programs exclusively for ISV Greenfield accounts and drive the success of major activities across diverse international markets.

  • Create and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to drive the acquisition and development of Greenfield Software Companies, increasing penetration and market share.

  • Conceptualize and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including paid media, nurture campaigns and cross/up-selling programs, dedicated to the marketing funnel conversion goals.

  • Collaborate with the broader Segments Marketing organization to develop joint marketing plans for ISVs customers

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities relevant to Software Companies.

  • Work closely with the Audience Content team to produce compelling ISV content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, and email campaigns.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing activities.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the ISV segment audience.

About the team

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in technology marketing, preferably in the ISV or cloud computing space

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful global marketing programs

  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems

  • Understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, and social media trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance stakeholders with global footprint

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • ISV (Independent Software Vendor) ecosystem experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
